The 17 Year old me - NEW RELEASE

I promised a new song each week, so I will deliver as promised! This is going RIGHT BACK to when I was 17 years old and it was my first major experience of a proper studio environment where we were actually writing and producing a full song. Prior to this I’d only ever written behind my piano with chords, lyric and melody that i’d come up with. The producer lived in Zurich, Switzerland, Magnus his name was but I cannot find him anywhere so if anyone knows him please hit me up and give him my details to reconnect! He also taught me how to say “I want a croissant” in Swiss German, so that was another very important lesson learned!

So excited to share this track with you as I really feel it captures the raw, youthful, innocent vibe of me as a person and as an artist and you can really hear my Mariah and RnB influences within the writing.

I hope you enjoy guys. My bezzie, Anand still listens to this song in his car (he’s sent me Insta videos and thats doubly as cool cause he’s a superstar actor in lalaland these days)!
