“Our friend Raquelle is very talented....You are going to hear some extremely cool and interesting things from her”
“Britain’s answer to Alicia Keys”
“She’s got what it takes in abundance”
Halloween After Dark is my three-track dark pop EP featuring Heaven Is Hungry, Masochist and Monster in Me.
Born during my 12 Weeks, 12 Songs songwriting challenge, this project became a space to explore the parts of myself I’d spent years hiding. These songs are about pain, desire, self-sabotage and learning to understand the shadows rather than feeling ashamed of them.
The EP brings together different chapters of my life, including Masochist, a song I wrote years ago with Tre Jean-Marie and Fred Cox that finally deserved to see the light of day.
I hope these songs make you feel less alone in your darker moments and inspire you to turn whatever you’re carrying into something creative.
