Day 17 - Classes Done...On With the Fun!

Last day of classes wooohoooo!!! Assessments done and back to our morning sessions with Vidya as of tomorrow. However, we are doing a different type of yoga tomorrow, "envision yoga" and each session is 3 hours and a half so I have no idea what to expect! We have to skip meditation to fit in practice before breakfast. I was a bit gutted about that cause I've been making progress, slow and gradual but progress all the same with my meditation. I flicker in and out of it but get rare, special moments of stillness which are worth the concentration efforts. I think Andrew is going to be super happy to discover my love for meditation, as it means he may actually be able to watch a Man U game in peace, without my incessant chatter about knowing the offside rule in his ear!!

It was an afternoon off today as well which made it even better, and the cherry on top there was CHOCOLATE CAKE!! Yes you read that correctly, your eyes did not deceive you, chocolate cake. Vegan and non-vegan but I had a bit of both and wow!! It melted in my mouth and the gentle, sweet high oozed into my brain filling me with endorphins…..now do you get how good this was??!! I began to think of all the foods Im going to savour upon my return. Sushi, edamame beans, maltaeasers…..popcorn and chocolate raisins of course!! Its going to be one hell of a party for my tastebuds. I am going to miss this delicious, wholesome food so much though. Its so wonderful to really feel the detoxing benefits of only eating fruit and veg and my new found love, tofu! I can't tell you I've dropped 3 dress sizes though purely because it was so damn good and there is always a need for seconds. However, my arms are getting nice and muscly and I definitely feel more toned all over although I can't wait to get back to a full length mirror and some scales!!!!

I had a good old sunbathe and chat with Gina - dj yogini, and another incredible guitar playing, angel voice yogini Brydie. We are going to do a little duet on the last night. We've already practiced "wonder wall" and "stand by me" and they sound great, so its onnnnnn!!!

Then we went on a long walk and took some pics on the dirt rack, voila;

We also did a "Bethany Yoga" dvd which was hilarious!!! Actually really cool flows on there too and a "really hard" work out. We always burst out laughing when we say really hard, as its in the song that Gina and I wrote a few weeks back and somehow it really took off and we all can't stop saying it. haha!

Paula's leaving tomorrow, so sad :( she has a yoga studio in Durga so next time we go to visit Andrew's gran or cousin Tara I have to go to her class. Last time we visited we went to a club called "Mantra" and apparently her studio is literally around the corner, what a coincidence! I have to say that was a seriously fun night out with Andrew's cousins Tara and Kate!!!

I can't believe there are only 3 days left, its flown by. I am so excited to get home to mum and Andrew though. I am going to be the last one here though as my flight isn't until sunday night and most people are leaving sunday morning. I think I may treat myself to a massage to work out all the knots in my shoulders and back. Why not eh!!!

Anyway, early morning for Envision Yoga tomorrow so bon soireeeeee
